How To Access Gmail in MS Outlook
Step 1: Turn on IMAP in your gmail settings
Step 2: Allow less secure apps in Google settings
Step 3: Open Outlook
Step 4: Fill out information
Step 5: Manually set up
Step 6: Set incoming to imap.gmail.com
Step 7: Set outgoing to smtp.gmail.com
Step 8: Go into advanced settings
Step 9: Select outgoing requires secure connection and use same info as incoming
Step 10: Go to Advanced settings set the incoming to “requires SSL” set port to 993
Step 11: the outgoing needs to be set to SSL as well and there are two ports you can try from. The first one to try is 465, if that one doesn’t work for you, go back in and change it to 587
Step 12: Test
